The 2018 Dirty Dozen and Clean 15 lists are in! 

Dirty Dozen (+1): 

  • strawberries
  • spinach
  • nectarines
  • apples
  • grapes
  • peaches
  • cherries
  • pears
  • tomatoes
  • celery
  • potatoes
  • sweet bell peppers
  • hot peppers (the new kid) 

Clean Fifteen:

  • avocado
  • sweet corn
  • pineapple
  • cabbage
  • onion
  • frozen sweet peas
  • papaya
  • asparagus
  • mango
  • eggplant
  • honeydew melon
  • kiwi
  • cantaloupe
  • cauliflower
  • broccoli

These lists are made to inform you, not scare you. You always want to incorporate fruits and veg into your diet! We like to aim for at least 5 servings per day. Just be sure to allocate your resources wisely- if you can spring for organic, it's more worth your while to tackle the Dirty Dozen. Clean 15 are usually thick-skinned foods that you peel- you can go conventional on these!
